    it could be energy efficient to use Intel ATOM or Geode CPU, but with CUDA Processing for Audio.
    offload some cpu intensive tasks for inexpensive gfx cards could be fascinating.
    Liquidsonics made a vst plugin with cuda support

    That would be very cool, more algorithms without extensive optimization, just crunch the numbers!
