I got a new computer yesterday, an Acer 5250 running Windows 7 Home Premium. Breakaway installs but then
I get an error message that the pipeline didn’t install. Just for the heck of it it, I tried all the demo versions and none of them work.

    Advice, anyone?

Did you try to install as administrator?

Or disable the UAC and try again.

I tried both disabling UAC and running as administrator and the latter informed me that
"this version of windows can not install an unsigned driver". Sigh.

Are you running 64bit Windows 7?

Yes, I’m running 64-bit Windows, Windows 7 Premium Home version. I’m crossing my fingers this can be figured out
somehow, and I do thank you for your help.

Forget the ask, what version Breakaway Audio Enhancer are you trying to install?
    v1.30.02 RC is the latest.

Also try to use another interface: Wave or DS instead of the default KS.

Well, that did it. Enhancer is up and running! Again, many thanks.

Yep the latest versions have both 32bit and 64bit drivers, as well as 32bit and 64bit taskbar toolbars, which are all signed. 🙂

It’s me again. I reformatted my computer last night for a few reasons, being able to run Breakaway again being one of them. But when attempting to install, I get an "Error" 0x80700002 opening Breakaway Pipeline" message saying that the pipeline must be installed. I’ve disabled UAC and tried to run as administrator, to no avail. Suggestions, anyone?

Problem solved. Someone at the Radio-Discussions board suggested that maybe the Breakaway drivers were disabled.
They were and now they’re not. So glad to have this software up and running again.
