So I got Breakaway a few weeks ago. Around the same time, whenever I’d play LoL, it started lagging, MASSIVELY(as in, I normally from 40-50 fps, and it was sticking around 10, and dropping to 5 at team fights… almost unbearable). I didn’t make the connection until a few days ago(at first i thought it was Firefox/Pandora, which didn’t fix it). I’ve completely narrowed it down to when I have Breakaway running, it kills my FPS(which is hilarious because its only @ like 10k memory…. I can run Firefox which takes about as much as LoL<around 200-250k> and it does nothing>). What am I doing wrong? D:

The amount of memory a program uses has nothing to do with amount of processing (CPU) cycles a program takes.
(i.e. It is possible to build a program who uses only 1k and uses 100% of the processor.)

Start a task manager and look wich program uses the most CPU time.

What type of CPU you have in your computer? And how much memory is inside?

It’s actually…. probably a sound engine issue with the game. What you can do is try changing (probably increasing) the buffer size, try changing the buffer count, or perhaps using DS (DirectSound) instead of KS (Kernel Streaming) to access the soundcard and pipeline.
