hi there,
i was wondering of anyone know if i could take the mclass processing parts out of reason (a software program for sound editing), and put them as a plugin for breakaway.
i have tried it by myself but i cant figure it out anymore 🙁greets wouter,
thanks for the answers

If that’s possible, then you would have to reverse engineer the way Reason loads and uses plugins (enough to get FX working), and build a VST or Winamp plugin shell for them. (VST would be much more useful I would think, there’s plenty of VST to Winamp loaders already)
Not an easy task, especially if there’s some kind of protection within Reason’s plugin loading/using.
In case you didn’t put 1+1 already, you’re already going to need C++, debugging, and reversing skills to start with. I’m well qualified enough, but not interested in Reason plugins. Sos.

thats way to complicated and difficult for me 😯
do you know any other thing i could put in front of breakaway to get some more out of it then i can standalone, because i try some plugins to get a good front before breakaway, like a dbmax in front of a omnia or like that 😉 but i wanted to keep it simple at one pc

ah right;)
but the summer is nearly over, and no new breakaway, so i thought i do something myself with some plugins
August 28, 2011 at 6:03 am #12535AudioMemberSpeaking of DBMax, what settings would you use in front of Breakaway? We have a DBMax stored somewhere but I never took the time to experiment with it, it would make sense to level our input ahead of Breakaway…
Cheers,
Audio

Live signal or just playout?August 28, 2011 at 4:57 pm #12537AudioMemberThe idea would be to "pre-process" the live signal (to more consistent levels) before it hits Breakaway 🙂
How would you recommend we use it otherwise?
Cheers,

I think Breakaway handles inconsistant levels very good, that’s why I asked if you meant live audio or just playout…
Or maybe you just wanted to add a certain ‘flavour’ to your sound? -
