Leif: WIBG1020 and WIBBAGE FM@94.3 both have excellent but older
audio processing chains. If we were to install Breakaway Audio Enhancer
between master control room outputs feeding our digital STL, I assume we
will still see noticable improvements to the control room outputs prior to
its being sent to the STL and then to the transmitters. Are we able to
create one computer with 2 input-2 output channel sound card
appropriate and can we run two instances of Enhancer
to separately feed the two stations?We absolutely love the quality improvements heard via the trial software.
We are currently using a CRL PMC-450 for the NRSC mask on the AM, and
an ORBAN Optimod 8200 on the Stereo FM. Currently, because of the
processing we have now, the Broadcast Processor is on hold, but it appears
that the same basic algorthyms are in both products. Where would you
recommend we install enhancer in our audio chain?
