BreakAwayLive And StationPlaylist Studio

Hello There!
I’m having a little trouble figuring out the best way to incorporate BreakAwayLive with my current broadcast setup, and thought someone could give some advice. If you think I should be using a different breakaway product, let me know that also.
Right now, I use StationPlaylist studio with my USB headset mic on a windows xp machine. Since I take calls on the air through skype, when I want to bring callers on, I set the linein device to be virtual audio cable1, and activate it when I want to bring a caller on air.
Now that I have BreakAwayLive, not sure the best way to proceed.
I tried having the encoder configured through the BreakAway sound card, but my encoder settings wouldn’t take.
What someone suggested was that I use the dsp livelink plugin to replace my current compressor in studio’s output mixer along with my sam encoder, and set my recording device in windows to use BreakAway live, then have BreakAway live running in my windows system tray and have sound come out of my card. I didn’t find the sound was as good as I’d hear it when listening to regular music.
So basically I’m trying to find out if anyone out there uses StationPlaylist studio, what configuration they find works best for broadcasting with BreakAwayLive? Be as descrptive in your setup as possible, as I’mm totally blind and need to know exactly what is set up where so I can duplicate your configuration for testing. I do not have a mixer of any kind.
