I know this is answered clearly in the FAQ section. But does anyone know if it’s possible anyhow to run BB on Windows 7 64 bit? Or if it will be possible in the near future through an update?
Regards,
JonatanMay 2, 2011 at 2:19 pm #12172GuillouMemberI have windows 7 64 bits. Both BBP Asio and Breakaway live run very well.
May 7, 2011 at 1:24 pm #12173GuntherMMemberSame here, both Asio and BBP running on Win7 – 64bit, last week I had some problems with updating to SP1 but it wasn’t a breakaway issue, just dumb ass Microsoft updates who are disabled here from now on.
July 21, 2011 at 10:16 am #12174GuntherMMemberHello guys,
Can I run BBP and BBP Asio together on one computer?
Couldn’t find the answer in the FAQ from the website.finally… I installed The Marian Trace Alpha and the ESI maya in a duo core machine with 32bit WIN XP Pro.
Because I’m planning to use this computer, only for soundprocessing.
Would be great if that was possible to run both BBP’s.Thanks,

With two soundcards that aren’t the same type, that shouldn’t be a problem with either of their drivers, or the way they access the cards. And it’s definitely no issue for BBP to do that.I’ve run several BBPs, a B Live, and a BAE, all at once. =)

Hi,
it will be running on a 32bit Win XP Pro 🙂 the other (64bit) workstations are doing other tasks for the moment.
They are equiped with M-audio interfaces that works fine for now.BTW totally off topic your Advancast transmitter is still doing his job 24/24/7 @ 30w on 1 tuned dipole 🙂
@Jesse, Motu has 64bit drivers for win7 but are crap drivers, so it’s not only an issue from Marian, other brands seems to have problems to write good drivers except M-audio and ESI. Strange 😕
