Any new update for enhancer?
April 8, 2011 at 11:03 am #5355timmywaParticipantProbably not till summertime. Leif and Jesse mentioned all software will receive updates after the Omnia.9 is launched in Summer. Nothing horribly specific.
April 17, 2011 at 1:36 am #5356JesseGMemberAn unfortunately but welcomed new trend in releasing software is to not announce any release dates, until it’s very close to being done. End result… a higher quality product than something rushed to be released on a "due date" for no good reason at all other than to keep stockholders happy (which makes no sense because it’s hurting any business in the long run).

April 28, 2011 at 12:08 am #5357Bryan DurioMemberNow THAT sounds like an Ots Labs-ish answer!! 😉
April 28, 2011 at 8:06 am #5358MilkyKeymasterHa ha, Bryan. Only Ots users would fully understand that.
May 17, 2011 at 10:26 pm #5359JesseGMemberI used to run almost 80 Ots machines. Believe me… I feel the pain with that. But Ots is still a quality product, for what it does. There is definitely a lack of attention to what the public requests though, if you’ve ever talked with "admin" you know what I mean. Even for the setup I worked on, which was probably the largest ever, nothing we ever requested was put into Ots. But they can run their business however they want. I have nothing bad to say about Ots. 8)

The BAE (Breakaway Audio Enhancer) update will be well worth the wait, since Leif wants to be able to put Undo into BAE. It’s basically up to licensing where the possibly changed price of BAE will be at. (with upgrade paths of course, if this happens)
Not to mention the 5.1 version… if you have a 5.1 setup, the industry standard UPMAX upmixing (which should be included) is going to blow your mind.

What are the plans for Breakaway DJ?
Will it be updated, or will it be obsolete when the new versions of the other products wil come out?May 19, 2011 at 8:40 am #5361JesseGMember[quote author=”Dj Buik”]What are the plans for Breakaway DJ?

JesseG:
This is no longer your daddy’s stock market, where prices would fluctuate by eights of a dollar, and where folks invested for life in a stock. Today, when considering an investment, folks not only couldn’t care less about where the price of a stock they own will be in a few years, or even a single year. Today, they don’t even care about the performance of the stock LAST quarter. Today, the most they care about is what analysts say will happen to it this COMING quarter, and more often what will happen to it tomorrow…or the next hour.
And this includes the Directors!
Me? I just got hoodwinked into buying an ASUS N43Jf Notebook because they promised revolutionary audio, "Bang & Olufsen ICEpower" with "SonicMaster". What a load of crap. Unfortunately, it also comes equipped with a garbage Realtek sound card where the rollback driver works better than the most recent. However, the volume is so low I couldn’t even watch a streaming movie…until I (tried) purchased Breakaway. This SonicMaster was SUPPOSED to be the equivalent of Breakaway…for free, and it was as useless as you know what on a bull.
