Hi!
I’m DÃdac, a veteran user of all Leif products 😀
I have running a BBP ASIO with one Juli@ soundcard for L/R in and MPX out.
Also I have loaded an old version of edcast into Encoders section for stream the processed sound in mp3 at 160 kbps and aac+ at 48 kbps, but my sound on aac is poor.I configure the MP3 encoder with the popular post in this forum 😆
What is the best option for my configuration? I try to update de libaac.dll but Edcast doesn’t start.
I also noticed that EdCast cause small cuts/glitches in the MPX output.
Thanks!

enc_aacplus.dll from Winamp’s plugins folder is the latest encoder from Coding Technologies, and what you should be using.
February 15, 2011 at 1:09 pm #11871didacParticipantThanks JesseG but, is my chain the best option?
Can I use BBP Live for streaming using the same source (Juli@ ASIO input)?
I update the enc_aacplus.dll from last Winamp version. Please listen my streams and tell me your impression:
MP3 at 160 kbps: http://www.totradio.com:8000/128kbps

Preset: Reference Classical
Final drive: +1,5 dB

Poweer: 70
Speed: 40
Bass Boost: +15
Bass Shape: +15Challenger Stereo Enhancer: Copied from one capture of you 😉

February 20, 2011 at 12:08 pm #11872didacParticipantI am very sad, disappointed with the users of the forum.
I have always helped all users when they have needed, and this time I need help, no one gives me.JesseG, you’re an expert about the good quality of stream, can you help me? Any other can help me?
Thanks and sorry for my bad english!
February 20, 2011 at 12:52 pm #11873AnonymousGuestThere’s something "gritty" in the MP3 stream but it could be the song (Michael Jackson – This is it). I’ll listen some more and report back.
February 20, 2011 at 1:57 pm #11874didacParticipantI test practically all songs, the Michael Jackson song doesn’t have any "gritty".
Thanks! I’m waiting you 😉
February 20, 2011 at 2:17 pm #11875AnonymousGuestCould be coming from the final drive, but i only heard it on that song. Everything else sounded fine. It could be a tad cleaner but if you want your stream to sound "FM like" keep it the way it is. The bass is punchy and doesn’t affect the rest of the audio, unlike what i’ve heard from a certain guy from Greece. 🙂
I was surprised how good the AAC+ stream sounds btw.
February 20, 2011 at 5:13 pm #11876didacParticipantThanks for all the information.
I would like to process the streaming separately of FM, I have all the licenses of BBP, and only use the BBP ASIO.
BBP ASIO can be used simultaneously with Live ASIO using the same soundcard as a source? (Juli@)Thanks!
February 21, 2011 at 9:46 pm #11877JesseGMemberThat would depends on the soundcard drivers @ multi-client ASIO. The only cards I know that for sure support this are RME. Let us know if you can do it, when you try it. 8) This is information we would like to have.
