Everybody on this forum has noticed the arrival of spam, but most of all the lack of answers from the Breakaway Team.
I assume they are engaged in getting the Breakaway box to the streets and can only do so much with just 24 hours in one dayMy biggest concern: wil the software edition be continued and developed (I still remember Streamsolo) and if so: how much will the all new 1.0 version cost current users?

As busy as the "team" may be there is no excuse for leaving the Forum unattended as there is only one developer Leif we have been told.
Unless Jesse got hit by a car or left they need to get their act together and stop saying "what do you expect for the money" 🙄

Even if one of the events above is applicable they should inform the users. That’s what this forum is for, right? 🙄I do think you get a big bang for the buck, I have tested BBP for a long time and do like the potential, so I choose to use breakaway for all processing on a multi-station platform I am developing. At least, that was the plan. I do understand that support is limited due to the retailprice. But having all that said, now I am in doubt.
This way Leif just demonstrates why it can be wiser to buy a regular brand hardwarebox…January 7, 2011 at 11:35 pm #11742Lee XSMemberDon’t think anyone or any product is dying, it’s more like everyone is recovering from the holidays. It’s already been mentioned that an all new Breakaway platform is going to be launched very shortly so just be patient!
Anti-spam procedures are in place.
In regards to support, you’ll find that 90% of the questions that get asked here, have ALREADY been asked and answererd! So all it takes is a quick search and you’ll get the answer you were looking for.
Happy New Year
EDIT: I have just noticed that Leif has already answered all your questions in the new sticky post right at the top of the forum entitled "status update" – have a read!
January 8, 2011 at 6:35 am #11743JesseGMemberI did take a break from the forums, and many other things, until today too… for the past few weeks.
All is very very well.
If you’re at CES this weekend, say hello to Leif if you’re lucky enough to run into him in Vegas. 😉
January 8, 2011 at 7:45 am #11744radio oude stijlMemberI am very pleased to see and hear everybody is still alive and kicking!
Vegas is a couple of thousand miles away but I’m sure I’ll bump into Leif on the processingfreakday in the Netherlands. I guess I know the answer, but will you be there Jesse?January 8, 2011 at 8:04 am #11745JesseGMemberI would like to be. But I’m not planning on it yet. Either way I should probably renew my passport. 8)

I could pick you up and drop you off at Schiphol and arrange a place to sleep if you like, so all you need is a ticket USA <> Netherlands…
The processingfreakday is a unique event, even for Dutch standards 😆February 4, 2011 at 2:52 pm #11747Joop KrauthausenMemberi will be @ processing freakday…
