    Hello,

First : i’m french and my english isn’t perfect 😉

I’d like to use Breakaway Broadcast for my live mixes on webradio.
But my sound installation is special : I use a Midi controller which is plugged into the Line-In of my sound card, then, the streaming software captures the sound who comes from this Line-In and it works.
But when I use BB there’s a latency (it’s normal, I know) which make the live mix impossible.

What advice could you suggest me ? I read that using a Virtual Machine isn’t a good solution.
It’s not important if I can’t hear the sound treatment, the most important is that the listeners can hear it.

    I hope you understand me.
    Thank you.

it’s possible to lower latency pretty far if you use the lower latency/quality modes of core & clipper, and work to optimize the number and size of buffers. but not as far as using ASIO version, if you’re able to record/stream from that.

I think Breakaway Live is more suitable for webcasting, and does incredibly low latency too! But if you have another soundcard, you might just route audio there before it’s going to BBP..

    This could be helpful: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=728

Oh, sorry, just realized you aren’t using your soundcard as program output, so yes, you have the soundcard, use it wisely 😉
