MemberIs there also an CGMighty80’s preset for Breakaway available? Or can someone emulate this?

MemberAny new updates from stations who using Breakaway software at the moment?
Erwin
MemberI don’t no how to do it. Maybe someone can help me out and give the right path to record with Breakaway to a wav file.
Erwin
MemberI’m using pipeline 1 in Winamps output, Pipeline 1 in Stereostocker. And in Breakaway also pipeline 1 as the input and output my own soundcard. Is that right?
Erwin
MemberOk, nice small tool. But how it’s working? I try to play music in my Winamp player to test it but when I use pipeline 1 in my winamp and put Breakaway Broadcast on, I have a wave error when I hit the start button from StereoStocker. What are the right settings? So when it works in Winamp, it also works in Ots AV on the same way.
Erwin
MemberAre there any free applications available?
Erwin
MemberI don’t use Otsav for broadcasting over the internet, so I don’t use a shoutcast plugin. I’m using Otsav only for record non stop music.
Erwin
MemberI can’t program software so its a little bit easy to say that. What’s a good recorder dsp? Anyone?
Erwin
MemberWhich support? I ask it here so someone have the answer maybe? Which DSP plugin is working and how can I install it in OtsAV?
Erwin
MemberNo, there is an option in Ots AV to record the output to wave but how can I process it with Breakaway?
Erwin
MemberI’m using OtsAV also with Breakaway but when I record a wave file in OtsAV it’s not processed with Breakaway. How can I set OtsAV to also record the wave file with Breakaway?
Erwin
MemberYou must press the reload button after you select the plugin to hear any difference. Inform us when the plugin is online. I like to hear it.

Member
I’ve got a studio monitor setup I am using, that’s what I was listening on to configure the station. I tried the tornado plugin but I don’t think I could get it working properly because I couldn’t hear a difference.
But from what JesseG is saying, it does sound to me that might seem to sound better on cheap speakers, etc, but in fact isn’t good sounding at all.
Buy new ears if you can’t hear any difference…
Erwin
Member
I didn’t realize Tornado was a plugin, I thought it was just a preset. What does it do exactly? Why should it not be used? I don’t know anything about it, haven’t tried it yet.
It gives more ‘body’ to your sound and it give more a ‘jumps off the dial’ sound. Try it and you hear it.
