Hi i wounder if you guys can help me

I use the advertised set up here with breakaway broadcast and edcast which sounds great however is there a way to stream the titles from sam into edcast, i do not want to do it permanently as a plug in as i use other programs too like traktor

Im just looking for the url or file to add to edcast to enable this when using sam

Any ideas?

The presets in the upcoming Breakaway products are going to be decently more quiet for the FM/AM versions, since they can always be doubled in loudness by increasing drive.  The presets for Live, DJ, Basic (formerly known as Audio Enhancer), and Home Theater, will all have much less signal levels into the final limiters as a default.

If one (like me) hates peak control, the closest they can get now with the current presets is:
preset: Reference Movies
range: 25
power: 100
speed: 15

and to use Reference Jazz if it sounds too processed for your needs.  use Reference Settings if it doesn't sound processed enough; but if you hate peak limiting, you probably won't like the increase in sounding processed either.  If there isn't enough AGC happening, increase the range slowly till it settles at the top when your (hopefully) loudness normalized sources are at their average relaxed yet loud parts.  Be careful not to have too much range in the Multiband, or it can sound un-natural, and create an increased risk of not handling bursts.

Some of the presets for the upcoming Breakaway products are very transparent, even in comparison with the above settings.  🙂

Yes i am always looking to improve, thing is as my station has quite a few djs most of the time you wouldnt here my set up unless stated

Basically i need to be able to sound good playing dance and 80s music, whilst beight fairly loud as a lot of the others seem to come louder than me and the listeners say im quiet?

Now it seems louder ever thou the settings are lower? baffled lol

I have licences for live and broadcast so would love to know the best way to set everything

Many thanks
For "dance" music always will be best Rustonium and Never Plutonium! Also for stream you need bit of pre-emphasis. So you need BBP Broadcast.
Since i tuned in with some Live MC/DJ.. wich comes about 10dB more then it should at input.. you might also need declipper plugin 🙂
Remove any other processors, whatever it is.
Many thanks for the comments, however when the live dj mc was on that would be with out breakaway as we have djs from all around the world streaming in, which is why i put the times up for the stream

I have been trying all sorts this end to get the best set up to pass on to the others as a standard for the station

I have used dj and live testing, do i need to purchase Broadcast now? if so is there an upgrade at all, i am running this atm with live

Many Thanks to all

Update i am now trying bbp on demo, what settings are best for me please
