Too bad for ASUS chosing the VIA chipsets for onboard sound 🙁
You where right , even this new 10 channel chipset (via) has very dirty output .I love realtek onboard soundcards 🙂 it’s free of charge and very stable ..if you use the latest drivers … 🙂
ESI Jul is the best for it’s money too!

Very big progress today thank’s to George’s song!
Leif !! i think that my stream now has more treble than ever and even more clear deep bass ,
i disabled the transition width and slope…. i was using this "special" feature of breakaway for a temporary occation becuse of a bad link connection ( 1,7 GHz backup link ..had some overshoots and i was loosing loudness to be 75 KHz..)
now that i ve replaced the bad microwave links there is no reason to use the TRANSITION WIDTH AND SLOPE.
..my modulation is full of all kinds of sound frequencies now 🙂)more treble
more bass
more mid!

it’s cleaner ( but be a little tittle tittle…patient , check 3 to 4 songs becuse of bad recordings ..)p.s. even at bad recordings with these settings and rustonium preset ( not 50 50 50….505050505050..)
….breakaway R E G E N E R A T E S the distorted songs! that’s a magic that other FM sound proccesors CANNOT DO. other processors make the distorted songs ..even more distorted! 🙂 breakaway regognises the distorted songs and regenerates 🙂 i cannot believe in my ears at some songs of 80s and 90s.. greek songs..thanks!

i have put breakaway on it’s limits that’s normal to have a 2, or 3% distortion.
remember : i like tweaking presets…a lot 🙂)thanks everyone!

i have many listeners from Netherlands and Germany 🙂) 10% ( 80%+ Greece)
2) this stream has de-emfasis from breakaway. ( at the FM recievers the treble are 100% present but at the stream …using de-emfasis (for flat full stream modulation) from breakaway causes that big loss., maiby the low treble ( at the stream) are becuse of the "simplecast encoder (WMA) "
3) Leif, i use Rustonium preset and i think it’s the most "intelligent" preset eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever!
( but with different settings and some leif’s dsp plugins..all linear!! )You should listen to the FM modulation at 104,5 , it’s stuck at 72 KHz withour MPX clipping !! and it sounds loudest that all the other stations. even to those who modulate at 140 , 150 KHz modulation!!
can u imagine ? that’s breakaway power! i wish i could test leif’s mpx clipper some day!
My stations modulation power is at 9 dbr without MPX clipping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( all the others are from 2 to 5 )wow! george you use a lot of preemfasis, ….in my opinion preemfasis of 50 and 75 should be used only at FM broadcast, NOT AT STREAMING, i know it’s impressive at small speakers and ..loud , but you lose your spectrum balance, can u imagine what would happen to the listeners who use equalizers? ( your music is excellent for relaxing..!!)

the latest version is just perfect …if you put it ON AIR with some DSP plugins…🙂 ( linear plugins of course!)

make it hardware ( all in a nice…box,) and you will definately ..become rich!If you make all these hardware it will be very easy for you to sell thousands of boxes! believe me!
FM radio stations are buying much easyer a "box" than..a software stand alone)don’t create an operating system,
just make a ‘prototype" good looking proffesional box with a core2duo and "edited windows xp version" specialy designed for breakaway with SSD of course and a good soundcard.I am thinking of buying from you 20 licences of ASIO breakaway and making by my own that "boxes" for some radio stations here …
buy from you 20 licences and sell them with complete hardware solution ?
..i ll become a kind of re-seller here in greece but with ..hardware support.

as for ..the mpx clipper …just leave it at "high latecy" ,
believe me , many stations just don’t care of that latecy , the just want to be LOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD and legal! 🙂you will become a millionare , i am sure about that,
