Thanks for getting back to me.
I should have specified by what I meant by a ‘thorough cleaning’ of my computer.
Yes I did use a registry cleaner in addition to the usual temp files, cookies, history, etc…
Thanks for your efforts.Iceman

Thanks for the tips, I think the EQ might benefit me greatly. I will try the ‘Live’ version. I may also try the other versions while I’m at it.
Do you know if of these versions also offer a compressor/limiter that can be adjusted?
Also too, I sometimes like to listen to OTR (Old Time Radio) shows where their recording techniques were HORRIFIC! I’m thinking the parametric EQ could help in eliminating some of the tape hiss. Unfortunately there isn’t really much that can be done with the clipping aspect (unless you know of some tricks) of the recordings. Garbage in garbage out. On OTR recordings they overmodulate during loud musical numbers and audience applause and laughter. It would be nice to curtail those peaks without muffling the rest of the dialogue by bringing down the high end. If you have any suggestions I’m all ears.
How about being able to adjust or enhance the seperation of each channel? Is there anything on Breakaways versions that will allow for such an adjustment?
I appreciate the input Kes. Happy New Year to you.
