I did some checking, as you all got me curious about VL. I found this thread:

Look for the post entered by the user named: "iOLD" (2 posts from the bottom of the page). I followed it and it works!!

Caveate & Possible Work Around: If you continue to get or get an error that says something about your blah blah playlist is a too new of a version to work with this version of ITunes, and ITunes then doesn’t start. Go to this path:

C:Documents and SettingsUserMy DocumentsMy MusicItunes

Here you will find all your old playlists, etc. Make a backup of this folder and handle it how you will AFTER this works. Point is, once you made a backup delete or move this entire folder to some safe place. Then delete the Itunes folder in the above path. Then start Itunes and VL will work. Although, at this time I’m using a demo version of VL that I got here:

It seems cheap enough to buy, should I like it, and so far I do like it, alot!! Hope this helps.
