"Automatically adjusts volume dynamics" to me means "compressing". MP3s are already compressed and I don't really want them compressed more. My question was misunderstood by you so I will ask again: Will auto gain control (increasing volume) result in less compression than limiting (reducing volume)? So in other words would I better off starting with a lower DB file and ask it to raise the volume rather than to have a real loud track and ask it to reduce the volume?
