Stukje opnemen van Radio Continu denk ik, en dezelfde platen afspelen via je Breakaway en dan vergelijken ๐
Waarom wil je eigenlijk dezelfde sound als Continu? Je kunt toch beter een eigen sound creรซren
Wouter KMemberThank you for replying ๐
I've solved the problem with the crackles/glitches, after some more research on the internet I found that any other devices installed on the computer can cause problems with the soundprocessing.
I deleted the LAN driver, turned onboard audio and a few other things off in the BIOS, and used your settings for Airomate shown above.
RDS pilot in Breakaway at 0db gain is 4% so thats fine I guess. We've had a succesfull 6 hour test broadcast, longer than the setup would ever work before, so I think we're there!
Thank you for your help, now I need to find someone nearby with a analyzer so I can calibrate the ESI Juli@.
Wouter KMemberSorry for kicking this topic, but I thought it was better if you guys could see the example right away.
I kinda have the same problem as the TS, but with my setup RDS pilot goes absent after a few hours of playing.
It starts with a sort of crackling sounds which becomes louder and then RDS pilot goes absent and audio is a mess ๐
Edit: Also different from TS, after pilot going absent, RDS isnt working on the tuner and, as mentioned, audio is a complete mess
I have used these settings:
In the Airomate Settings, Synchronization page:
Enable the synchronization channel.
Set Frequency to 19000hz
Set Level to 50.0%.
Set Waveform to Sine.In the Airomate Settings, RDS page:
Enable RDS.
Set Level to 50%.
Set Frequency to Automatic. As advised here: http://www.claessonedwards.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=58&Itemid=1029
Am I doing it wrong? Do I need yorkie98's settings?
My PC setup:
AMD Athlon 64 x2 4200+
4GB RAM memory
ESI Juli@ soundcard
Clean Windows XP install
Breakaway Broadcast Processor ASIO v0.90.95
Airomate 2I live in Europe by the way (The Netherlands) so I have 50us Pre-Emphasis. Not sure if it matters but thought i'd mention it.
Can this be related to my RDS settings? Or is my PC not fast enough/other issue.
Thank you so much in advance for helping!
